wow jon. that really touched my heart. i’ve been studying this morning php 2:5-8 and the willingness of jesus to humble himself for us. we’re too stinking complacent!
that song right there is a CHALLENGE…especially if you are singing the words to it…you can’t really sing it and not mean it…or at least i can’t!
Don’t know who chose that song for that particular service but it was so fitting. I was on the Peru trip featured in our church video. Prior to going that song became my heart cry for the trip and I think it’s part of the reason why I came back more changed than on any other trip. It nearly brought me to tears last Sunday.
