sooo, it’s been almost a year since i’ve done a thankful thursday here on my blog…for those of you who have NO IDEA what i’m talking about…well, you would be the majority of the world, so no worries…it’s just a little time set aside on my blog to be reminded of all that i have to be thankful for… i must say i’m missing it this week…sooo…
thankful thursday…is BACK!!!
this week i’m thankful for a lot of sleep…i’m thankful for time to visit with my grandparents…i’m thankful for two jobs…i’m thankful for people who care enough to ask tough questions…i’m thankful for my cooper’s HUGE smile…i’m thankful for my molly’s bedhead and morning breath…i’m thankful for the joy and challenge of being father…i’m thankful for an amazing wife who doubles as an amazing mother each day and triples as an amazing physical therapist…i’m thankful for a healthy family…i’m thankful that kasey no longer has to see her kidney specialist…i’m thankful for a God that loves me more than i can ever comprehend…i’m thankful for the fact that He chooses to use me…i’m thankful that He provides for me…i’m thankful for a warm house…i’m thankful for two cars that both ran this morning and got my family where we all needed to go…i’m thankful for my thursday morning st. arbucks run…i’m thankful that bromine joined me this morning for some bean…

This is wonderful Jon, thanks for putting it on a page. We do forget to be thankful for so much of what we have… I am thankful for my spouse, who is the quieter of the two of us, I am thankful for the ability to hear all the wonders of the world, the birds, the crackle of a good campfire, the rolling thunder, I am thankful for my two grown children and the fact that God has blessed them in so many ways, and blessed us with seven beautiful grandkids, I am thankful for warmth, I am very very thankful for a friend by the name of Jean that told me some time back that I was in a spiritual rut, and led me out of the darkness into the light of being a christian, I am thankful that my world again includes my sister who is in cancer remission, she had carried a grudge against me for several years, and finally with the help of God, she finally realized the trivial crap was not as important as the love I have for her,. I am soooo thankful for all the wonderful friends I have encountered thru the years, esp the friends at Lima CC. I am thankful the my God loves me no matter what,, He is my alpha my omega, I know now I always have a rock to stand on, and now when I lift my hands, God takes all my worries, all my concerns, all my anguish, and all my sins, Praise You Lord, Praise you.. Thanks again Jon, I guess I had more to say than expected, Oh I almost forgot, I thank God for Jon McKanna and his family that they have brought the spirit of music and the worship of God back to Lima CC…..

I am thankful for the sunshine today. I needed it! I am thankful for the unlimited grace given to me each day..brand new! I am thankful for my wonderful kids and how unique they are. I am thankful for a great husband who works hard for his family, loves us and helps me stay sane.

i am thankful that we have died up front through christ and are now free to live. i am thankful that in every situation i win no matter what the results. i am thankful to be free from living for results. i am thankful to be free from living only with a destination in mind. i am thankful for my wife sticking with me when it was really hard to. i am thankful that my 2 yr old had a good day at daycare. i am thankful that pam is feeling better and no surgery is needed. i am thankful that my 5 yr old’s hands were not damaged as severely as first thought. i am thankful for an awesome job. i am thankful for so many things that it seems that i could never stop.
i am most thankful that i have an opportunity to get to know god.
