    Wow… what a cool project. You know the first thing that came to mind is this box I put together when I was a little kid – 7 or 8 years old. In it are some things that I cherished back then. Things that I wanted to give to Jesus when I meet him. A small bible, a pot holder, a matchbox fire engine, a rock, an arrowhead, a piece of gold, a ribbon for winning a race in school. As I look back, I can see they were not my perfect things, rather things that I got from others or played with a lot until I really couldn’t play with them anymore. That box is still intact in my garage. Sitting. Waiting. This would be the first thing I bring to the party.

    what would I expect to happen??? Just being able to talk with Him. To visit with Him. To ask questions. To listen. I am really not sure of everything, but I would love to have a face-to-face conversation. So I imagine it would be like my prayer life, except in person.

    who else would be at the party & who would I invite??? For starters… I would love for this to be a private party. Not out of selfishness reasons, rather just to have some personal time. Then I would love to open the party to those that do not believe. Give them a chance to ask. Give them a chance to talk and listen.

    Michael…I love your comments…love that box you made for Jesus!

    Jon- I think this party is such a neat idea for all of those who work so hard serving. I hope they feel loved and appreciated for sure. From what Michael said, for them to feel like they are having a face to face conversation. Have the music fit that thought. When they are worshipping let the songs be direct love songs to Jesus and even from Him straight their heart. I know from being heavily involved this past year in ministry that burn out comes easy. It’s easy to wonder if what you are doing is really important some days.

    If I was going to really, physically meet Jesus…I’d just want to sit and take it all in….nothing fancy…nothing flashy…just simply sit in His glory and be renewed.

    i would want to dance with him.
    he would be smiling at me.
    and when the party was over we would sit quietly and talk.

    @michael – i love the selfishness…that’s good!!!

    @jen – i’m sure they will feel loved and appreciated…Jesus is going to love on all of us!!!

    @cindy – if i danced with God, He wouldn’t be smiling…He would be cracking up laughing at me!!!
