sooo, here we are again…another week of joining in the madness over on fred’s blog…take the time to go check out what other worship leaders and churches are doing in their weekend services…
for the purposes of this blog…i’m posting what all went on in the source this past weekend…it was another weekend full of snow…and for the most part unexpected snow…so here we go…
1. we won’t be quiet…by david crowder band
2. marvelous light…by charlie hall
3. here is our king…by david crowder band
4. reign in us…by starfield
then we went into our announcement/offering time hosted by our venue pastor…
5. my Jesus i love Thee…the original hymn (my own arrangement, acoustic with an added chorus)
this rolled into one last announcement and our weekly coffee break…which was followed up by a message from our guest speaker…christina ryan claypool…she shared her personal story of overcoming abuse and having an abortion…she related that to all sin and how we each have a struggle…she was speaking on “sanctity of life sunday”…
6. healer…by michael guglielmucci (acoustic)
once again we had a good sized crowd…especially with the second week of snow and the extremely frigid temperatures we have had all week!!! i can’t really put my finger on it, but things just seemed a little akward…i just didn’t feel at ease all morning…i had thought about a last minute song change and then went back to what was scheduled…i just wasn’t confident like normal…but God was faithful and definitely working in the lives of people…it was very powerful message!!!
so there you have it…
sunday setlists…take twenty…

Yay for Dave Crowder
Question for you Jon – do people know the ‘revelation’ surrounding “Healer” in your church? And if so, what is their reaction to singing it?

i am familiar with the “revelation” and i shared it with our band/leadership, when it all happened…no one blinked at all…the song is very powerful and the congregation loves it!!!
i don’t really see them caring if i did tell them about it…but we didn’t see a need to…i actually introduced it just days after the “revelation” took place…
