sooo, in the midst of a crazy INSANE schedule…i’m checking in with the good times over on fred’s blog…if you don’t know what that is, check it out…it’s a listing of other worship leaders and what churches are doing during their weekend services…
but for this blog…i am listing what we did in the source on sunday…
we opened with the band doing their own little jam session…not real sure what key it was in or anything…but it was pretty sweet!!!
1. tell the world…by joel houston
2. my Savior lives…by ross parsley
3. all we need…by charlie hall
4. hallelujah what a Savior…by vicki beeching
then we went into our video announcements…live announcements…and our offering time…
5. God with us…by mercy me
this was followed up by our weekly coffee break…during this time, we played the video i posted here on my blog last week…it got some good laughs…then it rolled right into our video message done by our connections pastor, brandon williams…
after the message our venue pastor did the benediction and we were out the door…
the band had extra time to run through our music this week…that was a blessing…things seemed to be very tight…i really felt the need to sit on “all we need” and the band stuck right with me, despite my back being to them and not having a clue what i was doing…it was good stuff!!!
so there you have it…
sunday setlists…take seventeen…
Insane schedule. I can relate. All We Need…haven’t found the right way to lead that from the keys.
We did “Tell the World” this week as well. I love that song. “My Savior Lives” is another great one.
We planned on doing “My Savior lives” this week but had to cut it when I found out we would be without electric guitar. Good song!
I know what you mean about the insane schedule!
Hey7,
Thanks for being a great part of Sunday Setlists! Looking forward to an awesome 2009!
