sooo, this past weekend my good friend and campus pastor spoke on II Cor. 5…the last six or seven verses…the focus of his message was on reconciliation and mainly in regards to family relationships…he did a great job of dealing with a tough issue…so often there are relationships that we let drift farther and farther away, when God wants us to reach out in love as He so often does to us…
but as he went through this passage there was something that really stuck out to me…one verse…
so we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. at one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. how differently we know him now! (II Cor. 5:16, NLT)
that is something that i ask for almost every day…i ask God to help me see each person and situation i face through His eyes and not through mine…that is something that i have a real tough time doing…i mean REAL TOUGH…no matter if it’s a co-worker or a client…a neighbor or a niece…my pastor or myself…no matter who it is, i need to stop evaluating people from…
a human point of view…
there have been so many times in my life where i would look at a person or a situation and think that there is absolutely no way…so many times in scripture where that would be true as well…so many times that i limit God because of…
a human point of view…
what is there that God wants to do…and could do…in and through my life… if i would STOP looking at life from…
a human point of view…
