08/08/08…i’m excited…

sooo, here we are on 08/08/08…i’m excited…i woke up this morning to this amazing dawn of a new day…i was able to get ready and open the front door to 53 degree temperatures outside!!! i walked out and got the newspaper and just listened to all of the birds singing…just for a moment i thought i was back on vacation, in the woods…there was an amazing sunrise this morning as i was driving to work, i could hardly even see where i was going…

that is just what i needed!!!

it’s been a crazy, busy week for me and last night was no exception to that…kasey left for her class and i was home with molly…there was a lot to get done and not a lot of time to get it done…i was up late and stressed to the maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax!!! but i was reminded of the fact that i need to just give to God in prayer and trust Him to take care of everything…and HE did…it all got done…i got some sleep…and then even when i’m tired and not really wanting to wake up this morning…God provides this beautiful morning to just energize me…i still had to have a cup of coffee though!!!

i’m reminded once again that i need to pray and trust God more…and i’m excited to see what He does this weekend through the services…i’m thinking that just like this morning was a new day for me…there are going to be people attending the services this weekend that are going to be able to experience the dawning of a new day in their lives…i’m excited to see how God wants to heal hearts and lives…i’m excited to do this song both on saturday night and in the source this weekend…i’m excited to be used by God, no matter how busy it gets!!!

please join me in prayer for the services this weekend, whether here at our church or there at yours…

it’s…

May the beauty of this morning’s sunrise pale in comparison to the annointed movement of the Holy Spirit in your services this weekend. May the congregation forget the faces of the empty-vesseled worship team but never forget the power of the One who provides the music through you as your minister in His name! Sing on!

I’m glad your day started off with a bang! God has a way of showing up and showing His love in HUGE ways just when we need it. I hope your weekend goes smoothly even with your right arm gone on her trip! I’m sure Molly will have fun hangin’ with her pops. We are doing that same song this weekend and I am so excited. I know God will use it. Please keep us in your prayers with our second preview! Thanks for your help with the sound…you’ve been a BIG help to Shan several times now. :)
