sooo, here we are again on a thursday…i’m not sure where the last week has gone…but wherever it went, it went there in a hurry!!! but there are so many things to be thankful for this week…i’m not sure where exactly to start…but we’ll give it a try…
i’m thankful for a cool morning and the chance to sit at starbucks and relax before my day starts…i’m thankful for the serving a creative God that makes people in so many different shapes, sizes, and personalities…i’m thankful that i don’t need the 5 shot, americana that was just ordered by the guy in scrubs…i’m thankful for how God has gotten me through a very busy week at work…i’m thankful for our softball team and the great relationships that we have been able to develop this year (even if our record is not something i’m thankful for)…i’m thankful for strength and good health to get me through the day…
sooo, that’s all that’s coming to mind right now…but i need to hear from you…what are you thankful for today???
it’s…
thankful thursday…

Wow, the 5 shot coffee beverage sounds pretty good this morning!
I’m very thankful for my wife and son. I’m also very thankful for the opportunity that God has given me to serve Him through the technical team at church and on the Mali trip this coming October!
I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends. Both have an impact on my life that truly is amazing at times. I am thankful that God continues to touch my life in small ways and big ways.
@matt – i’m amazed each and every day that God uses a screw up like me to do His work…definitely something i am thankful for…
@michael – i find there are so many small ways that i take for granted…thanks for that reminder!!!
i’m thankful for god’s amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. i’m thankful for the health to get out of bed and live life. i’m thankful for my family. i’m thankful for friends. i’m thankful to be able to serve god.
@jon – yeah, I have been watching for the little things lately. The big things are easy to see, but the little touches are easy to miss. When I catch one, I just sit there and smile for a minute and say thanks.
I’m thankful that even when hearts are breaking and the world is trying to squeeze us into its mold everywhere we go, that God is so faithful and longs for our companionship. I couldn’t ask for a better husband and daughter; they simply amaze me. My job is a financial blessing, my church is a spiritual blessing (great VBS week going on!)and my God blesses me with every provision. Thank you, Jesus.
I am thankful that though I have a way of messing things up…God is there. I am thankful for His guidance. I am thankful for all my second chances…and that He doesn’t cut me off…just keeps on loving me.
