so this has been a long week…it was my final week of classes for this semester and til fall for that matter…also i’m scheduled to lead worship sunday…sunday which is mother’s day, molly is being dedicated at church, and we are celebrating her 1st birthday with our immediate family members!!! and for good measure we decided to remodel the bathroom and finish that up on wednesday evening and kasey has to work all day tomorrow…so i’m going out to help two couples from church move to their new homes and molly is staying home with “aunt” jess.
on top of that i had a crazy, insane, busy week at work…most of which i can’t talk about…the rest of which i don’t want to talk about…it was great to come home and mow the lawn to unwind…totally mindless activity and time to clear my head…then after a great dinner i got to give molly a bath…now we’re just hanging out waiting for molly to give up on that fight against sleep…so we can go do the same…
it’s days and weeks like this one that i am so thankful to know a God that is in complete control…a God that hears my prayers…a God that showers me with love and grace each and every day of my existence…i’m thankful to have an amazing, beautiful wife to come home to…not to mention molly’s sweet little smile to get me through…
